2026 PW Junior Football Coaching Application
A person wishing to coach in any capacity in the Pewamo-Westphalia Jr. Pirates Football Program for the 2026-2027 academic school year must first complete this application.
Our leagues cannot run without the support of volunteer coaches. Thank you for signing up to coach!
Approval must first be obtained from the Board of Directors before the applicant is allowed to act in any coaching capacity in the Pewamo-Westphalia Jr. Pirates Football Program. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject or deny any applicant from being considered for coaching positions within the Pewamo-Westphalia Jr. Pirates Football Program for reasons considered to be detrimental to the program. Your submittal of this application shall act as authorization for the Board of Directors to perform a background check.
We, the PW Junior Football Board of Directors, take the responsibility of coaching seriously and believe that the children’s best interest and the league’s best interests are paramount.
PW Junior Football Mission Statement
The Pewamo-Westphalia Jr. Football Program's primary mission is to instruct/coach the game of football in a safe and positive learning environment to the boys and girls in the communities of Pewamo and Westphalia who attend either the Pewamo- Westphalia Public Schools, Westphalia St. Mary’s School or Pewamo St. Joes School. Its mission is expanded to also help participants build healthy bodies, strong minds, high self-esteem, good moral and ethical character, and teach the concepts of teamwork and good sportsmanship all in support of a shared vision of the Pewamo-Westphalia High School Football Program.
As a coach in the Mid-Michigan Pony Football League (MMPFL), the Mid-Michigan Middle School League (MMMSL) or the PW Junior Football Flag program, I hereby promise to:
